PATTERN – Gloria, the Cute Unicorn

The Unicorn from the pictures is made using Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn and a 4.0mm size hook, and to make a mane and a horn I used thinner yarn (YarnArt Jeans Crazy and Arelan Sonatka) with 2.5mm hook. The pattern doesn’t require any specific yarn, you can use whatever you like, even one kind to all elements. My plushie, made with these yarns is about 32cm (13 inches) long. (Pssst, do you know you only have to add the simple wings to change your Unicorn into a Pegasus?) WHAT YOU NEED: + any yarn you like – 2 colours, I suggest 2 shades of the same colour – I used YarnArt Jeans + hook matching your yarn – I used 2.2mm + black, white and one more colour for the eyes, if you want to crochet the eyes + safety eyes size 8-12mm, if you are not going to crochet the eyes + stuffing, sewing needle, scissors The pattern is meant for beginners and intermediate crocheters. It was tested a few times, but if there’s anything unclear or you have any thoughts, be sure to let me know 🙂 Also, I would gladly see your works, you can show me them on my Facebook group “OrlicaCraft Designs” or just tag me (@OrlicaCraft) while publishing your picture.

PATTERN – Llama? Alpaca? Llampaca!

I wasn't sure if this is llama or alpaca - and he doesn't know it neither! He claims he is a llampaca. Well, I won't argue with that! This pattern requires two types of yarn – for llampaca body I recommend YarnArt Jeans (160m/50g), and for the fur - Himalaya Dolphin Baby (chenille yarn, 120m/100g). Of course you can use yarns with similar specification, the key is this chenille or fluffy yarn for the fur – it shoud be thicker than the second one. My llampaca, made with these yarns is about 28-30cm (11-12 inches) high. You will need: • 1 colour of YarnArt Jeans for body (about ¼ of skein) (or similar yarn) • 1 colour of Himalaya Dolphin Baby for fur (about ¾ of skein) (or similar yarn) • hook size 2,5mm i 4mm (3mm or 3,5mm will be useful too) • safety eyes 6-8mm size, a little bit of black thin yarn or embroidery floss to make a face • stuffing, sewing needle, scissors This pattern is meant for beginners and intermediate crocheters. It was tested a few times, but if you see any errors, be sure to let me know 🙂 Also, I would gladly see your works, you can show me them on my Facebook fanpage @OrlicaCraft or just tag me while publishing your picture.
