The Dolphin from the pictures is made using Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (about 1 skein -probably more than 1 - of the main colour and about 1/3 of the skein of the 2^nd colour) and a 4.0mm size hook, and YarnArt Jeans with hook 2.2mm for details like the eyes. My plushie, made with these materials is about 47cm (18.5 inches) long (along the back). Of course you can use any yarn you like. The pattern is meant for beginners and intermediate crocheters.
